These kabobs will easily become a favorite of yours this grilling season! Sweet glaze with just the right amount of kick!
Sweet & Spicy Chicken Kabobs
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Serves: 6
2 lb. chicken breast, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or 1 can diced pineapple, packed in 100% juice)
1 cup fruit spread of choice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp. sriracha (or taste to preference)
1. On skewers* alternate chicken and pineapple.
2. Mix fruit spread, soy sauce and sriracha together to make glaze. Separate the glaze in half.
3. Brush threaded kabobs with glaze. Grill on medium-high heat, turning every 2-3 minutes until cooked through. Brush with glaze as your rotate skewers on grill using reserved glaze at the end of the cooking process.
*remember to soak your wooden skewers for 30 minutes prior to threading
Option: to add diced bell pepper or red onion to skewers, per preference.
